Missionaries of the Poor – Mission Update & Invitation to Support

Dear Supporters

We are pleased to share an update on the missions run by the Missionaries of the Poor (MOP). The fruits of these works are possible only through your wonderful support, and we remain ever grateful for your generosity and prayers.

Mission Updates

Thanks to your ongoing contributions, we provided:

• Food programs for the poor and vulnerable

• Medical and educational supplies

• Child education sponsorships

More recently, your support has also extended to the daily provisions not only of MOP missions in Flores, Indonesia, and Saburai, Timor-Leste but also in Naga City, Philippines.

Upcoming Mission Trip

Final preparations are underway for a group of four travelers who will be visiting the mission in Labuan Bajo, Indonesia, from 1–10 September 2025. We kindly ask that you keep our traveling companions in your prayers as they journey to serve alongside the Missionaries of the Poor.

Children’s Weekly Lessons & Feeding Program – Saburai, Timor-Leste

The MOP Brothers in Saburai are seeking ongoing support for their weekly English lessons, supplies, and feeding program for 80 local children. Some of these children are pictured below.

We invite you to consider sponsoring a child at the cost of $20 per month or $240 annually. Regular monthly or annual donations can be made into our account (details below). An update to the children's weekly program will be provided on my return from the mission trip.
