MOP Australian Foundation is a registered charity organisation that supports the Missionaries of the Poor. We believe that every person is deserving of dignity and respect, and we are committed to working together to provide assistance to those most in need.
Our organisation is made up of a team of dedicated volunteers who are passionate about helping others. We work tirelessly to raise funds and awareness for the Missionaries of the Poor, and we are constantly looking for new ways to make a difference. Our volunteers come from all walks of life, and we are always looking for new supporters to join us in our mission.
OUR STORY
In July 2011, a group of parishoners first heard about the work that Missionaries of the Poor were doing in Jamaica. From that initial presentation, many parishoners wanted to become involved almost immediately. After multiple trips, interactions, fund raisers and support provided to Missionaries of the Poor over the years, we formed a team of supporters right here in Australia, which became the foundation for our organisation and the start of the Missionaries of the Poor Australian Foundation.
MOP Australian Foundation is proud to support the work of Missionaries of the Poor by providing financial and other resources to help them continue their mission of serving the poor. We believe that by working together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who are suffering.
